20 is plenty
Eight primary schools in Staffordshire are to benefit from a trial of the use of electronic vehicle speed activated signs in a bid to reduce speeds around schools.
The County Council's Cabinet announced in July the start of the '20 is Plenty' Campaign to get car speeds down to 20mph outside schools in the county.
The shortlist of eight schools, one in each District, was drawn up by county councillors by listening to the views and concerns of local people.
Phase One of the campaign started in September and includes St. Peter's Primary School, Hixon; Horton St. Michael's Primary School; De Ferrers High School and St. Chad's Primary School, Pattingham.
Phase Two will begin in November and will include Chancel Primary School, Rugeley; The Richard Heathcote Primary School; Larkhall Infants School and Manor Primary School.
Staffordshire County Council's Road Safety Unit would like to know the views of both parents/ carers and pupils of those schools included in the '20 is Plenty' Campaign.
If you are a parent/carer or a pupil at one of the schools in Phase One of the campaign, please click the appropriate link below to complete a short survey.
Please complete the survey by 8th January 2010.
