There are currently over 36.5 million people holding driving licences in the UK with just over 34 million vehicles licensed.
With the ever increasing number of vehicles on the road driving is not what it used to be. Congestion is a feature of many journeys we make and many people want to get from A to B as quickly as possible: driving isn't the Sunday afternoon pastime that it once was!
Even changes in the way we shop has played a part. Online shopping has increased the number of delivery vehicles on the road and many younger drivers are owning their own vehicle than were years ago.
