CBT Extra
CBT Extra offers young riders the opportunity to develop their riding skills by providing free training and information to increase their awareness of the motorcycling environment. This training can be carried out in schools, colleges and youth groups.
Young riders are raring to get on the road however they have only grasped the basic skills of riding a bike; there is a lot more to riding safely and enjoying the use of a bike.
Training for the CBT Extra scheme incorporates a workshop resource and log books to educate young riders. The training could be the start of taking their full licence on a bike; the hours used on CBT Extra will count towards this. The rider will receive a log book that will allow them to record their training activity and provide them with information on further rider development, as well as many tips to help their ride safely.
